I\u2019ve been absent from blogging for over a month now. Naturally, you\u2019ve all be wondering where I\u2019ve been, and calling the Coast Guard, etc. but if you\u2019re reading this, you might be able to guess why. Yes, I have finally staggered to the ultimate destination of my lurching, screen-butting, marriage-straining journey across the internet, and here I plan to stay until the Great Meteorite Strike or the Zombie Apocalypse, whichever comes first.<\/p>\n

\"\"I don\u2019t like writing negative and whiny posts, so I won\u2019t go into the details of my slow transition from blogger.com to wordpress.com and then to wordpress.org. All you really need to know is I don\u2019t advise anyone none-code-literate to go further than wordpress.com, since the free blogging service they offer is mostly excellent. WordPress.org, on the other hand, feels like something dreamed up by Kafka with a fever of 110.<\/p>\n

So why have I done this? Well, simply so that I can keep a website and blog under my own name.com. True, I\u2019ve had to add \u2018-author\u2019, just to make it clear that I don\u2019t sell bowling equipment<\/a> or translate Plato<\/a> (both of which I\u2019m sure I could do, if I wasn\u2019t so busy being me. Um\u2026), but the \u2018thatelusiveline\u2019 thing had had its day.<\/p>\n
